Buying pre-owned gear is a great way to build your collection without breaking the bank. All photographers can find great value in clean, inspected, used gear, whether you are starting out or wanting to add something new to your bag.

We carefully inspect each item to ensure it is in good working condition and any issues with your gear are clearly indicated.

Unless otherwise noted, all used equipment sold by The Photo Outfitters carries a 60-day exchange/repair/store credit warranty.

Sell or Consign

Would you like to sell your equipment quickly and easily? The Photo Outfitters is always open to purchasing your camera bodies, film equipment, lenses, and flashes in good working order. Contact us directly for other gear to see if we’re interested. Upon inspection, we’ll make an offer and pay cash for your equipment. If you prefer to name your price, we’ll display and promote your gear, then charge a small commission once it is sold. Be sure to include all cables, batteries, chargers, etc. Missing components will reduce the value and may impact our ability to make an offer.

Stop by the store for a free inspection and quote if you're in the area. If you prefer to contact us via email, describe your gear with photos, model, shutter counts, etc., to help us make a fair offer. If we agree to a price, ship us your equipment, and we will mail a check within 10 days. We cannot make a firm offer before a hands-on inspection of your gear. A current government-issued ID is required to complete any purchase or consignment agreement.
